SCOTTISH INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE & KNOCKOUT (SILK)
March to October, 2024
The first stage ran as three all-play-all (round robin) sections from March to mid-September: North East, North West and Central. Entrants played 3 games against each opponent in their section. Final standings were based on games won and spread. The winner of each sub-region (Neil Scott, Chris Cummins and Sheena Wilson) qualified for a 6-player final, along with three other players achieving the highest tournament performance ratings who have not defaulted any games (Colin Nicol, Amy Byrne and James Burley), to reach a total of 6 players to play a 15-game round-robin of 3-game matches. If any qualifier declines their place in the final, the place will be offered to the player with next highest score on the same criterion, successively until someone accepts. The final will be played in Aberdeen on 9-10 November 2024.
